Emanuel Ax Worcester Concert reviews
Lynyrd Skynyrd was out of this world!
After sitting in the heat on Saturday, June 30, we were hot, aggravated and drained, waiting for the show to start. But then it suddenly all became worth it when Skynyrd came out! They were amazingly, undescribably, pouring every ounce of sweat and energy into every note, showing they loved every second of it. Hank Williams Jr. came out and did the most random set ever, not finishing songs that everybody wanted to hear ("Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound," "Country Boy Can Survive" and "Family Tradition") and changing the lyrics to the point you couldn't sing along. 38 Special did a great job, but the heat just wouldn't let me truly enjoy it. After that aggravation mixed with the heat, everybody was beyond irritated. They played everything I wanted to hear and truly kept the crowd engaged and mesmerized. Every note was perfect, every song was true to how you know it. I'm so glad I got to see Emanuel Ax!!!
